Gold was already very volatile previously but recently it seems that it took some steroids to go to the next level. 1000 pips used to be a daily wait, but now, an hour or two can achieve this. 1 minute candle used to be only 50-60 pips, now say hello to 200 pips up and down in 1 minute. This is why trading gold is so much fun! Everyday is a fun surprise. Is it crazy to use a martingale EA in this very volatile period? Yes, but as of now, everything is going according to plan. This is a smart martingale EA, it doesn't trade when there's no need to. It doesn't open martingale layers without reason. It stops trading when target has been achieved. It does everything...according to plan. It has been running for a month and still with a drawdown of only 13.90%. A gain of 45.47% in a month is pretty decent for me. Let's see how things go. Btw, the EA wasn't turned on for Monday and Tuesday because I forgot to turn it on back after doing the myfxbook verification process.
